Rachel Leigh began her broadcast career at 18 years old as a radio personality at WUEV in her hometown, Evansville, Indiana. Less than a year later, she expanded her career to the NBC affiliate, WFIE, in Evansville, as a digital producer and production assistant. She did all this while attending school fulltime at the University of Evansville.
Upon graduating, she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where she spent eight years at WFLX Fox 29 as the Digital Content Manager and Entertainment Reporter. Rachel became her corporation’s first digital manager and talent. Catching the eye of Raycom Media corporate, she was sought out to become the host of their new national travel show, The Southern Weekend. Rachel also worked hand-in-hand with her sales colleagues to develop revenue-driver branded entertainment.
In 2015, Rachel moved to the national production company, BrandStar. She became the talent, writer, producer, and editor of the digital show Behind the Brand, and was also a correspondent for The Balancing Act and Designing Spaces airing on Lifetime Television.
Rachel is currently the multimedia broadcaster for Florida Atlantic University where she focuses her talents on creating unique videos to build FAU’s brand across the United States.
Rachel has a passion for fitness and has been a group fitness instructor for almost a decade. She is celebrating four years of marriage to her husband, Jeffrey. They have three dogs, one cat, and a baby girl.
